Are you ready for some major news?  Do you want to read about the ultimate ultrasound unification?  We thought you would.  The principals are pleased to announce the merger between Ultra Select Medical and Platinum Healthcare.  This will mean greater flexibility and access for our customers.  

    Platinum Healthcare is located in Pennsauken, New Jersey and has been in business for twenty years.  Howard Taroff is the President of this entity.  Mr. Taroff has been in the ultrasound world for several decades.  He has worked with ATL Ultrasound, Interspec and Philips Ultrasound.  Platinum is an exclusive, authorized distributor for Siemens Ultrasound.  

     Ultra Select Medical is located in North Charleston, South Carolina and has been in business since 2009.  USM is governed by partners W.C. Peeler, Michael Wilson and Chris Munyon.  USM is an authorized service center for Siemens Ultrasound as well as GE and Mindray Ultrasound.  

     This move will strengthen the sales and service lines in the ultrasound world.  Customers will have greater choices in their options.  The merger will also accelerate the overall growth of the new company.  The name will remain Ultra Select Medical and we will still offer sales, service, applications, education and research.
